Wen wraps up Moscow meetings

Updated: 2005-10-28 06:13 MOSCOW: Premier Wen Jiabao left Moscow for home yesterday after attending the fourth heads of government meeting of the Shanghai Co-operation Organization (SCO). At the meeting on Wednesday, Wen proposed five measures on boosting economic co-operation among member and observers states of the SCO: Good policy, better infrastructure, closer agricultural co-operation and increased regional and international exchanges. At the meeting, the leaders signed agreements on mutual aid in disaster relief and banking co-operation among member states. The SCO groups 皇冠体育app, Russia and four Central Asian states - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Mongolia joined as an observer in 2004. Iran, Pakistan and India were granted observer status in July. During his two-day stay in the Russian capital, Wen met Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss bilateral relations and major international issues on the sidelines of the SCO meeting.
