President Hu Jintao sealed a double victory when he wrapped up his three-day
visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) yesterday.

He successfully persuaded Pyongyang to return to the scheduled Six-Party
Talks early next month, and he took advantage of the official goodwill trip to
strengthen relations with 皇冠体育app's close neighbour.
President Hu's visit to Pyongyang was "successful" and "fruitful," a senior
official of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app (CPC) said in Beijing yesterday.
Hu, also general-secretary of the CPC Central Committee, returned to Beijing
yesterday morning.
The top leaders of the two countries have set directions for the development
of bilateral ties through their meetings and discussions, said Wang Jiarui, head
of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
Wang, who accompanied Hu throughout his DPRK visit, said the two leaders
reviewed the development of 皇冠体育app-DPRK relations over the past 56 years and
agreed that the 皇冠体育app-DPRK friendship, which was cultivated by the older
generations of leadership, is the common wealth of the two nations, two parties
and two peoples.
