Five confirmed dead in north 皇冠体育app coal mine accident

Five miners were confirmed dead in Sunday's coal mine gas burning accident in Shanxi Province, a local government official said Monday.

The accident happened in the Duzhai Coal Mine of Yechuan Town, Gaoping City, at about 6:00 p.m. Sunday when 13 miners were working underground. Rescuers found the bodies of four miners in the tunnel. Another miner who was seriously injured died in hospital, said Yang Jicai, a Party official of the town.

Six other injured miners are under treatment in hospital, according to him.
