Brand Beckham's second hand style

David and Victoria visit Venice
to launch perfume
With David dropped from the England squad and Victoria's pop career long dead, Brand Beckham is starting to fade.

So perhaps the couple might have used the worldwide launch of their new perfume at the Venice Film Festival to reaffirm themselves as style icons.

But as these pictures show, far from showing off some innate ability to dress well, they each appeared far more comfortable borrowing their looks from others.

Victoria's look as she posed up for photographers in the Italian city was effortless - but only because the effort had already been made by designers at Miu Miu who dressed their catwalk models for their autumn/winter range exactly the same way.

Not only did the former Spice Girl borrow the £900 beige dress from the designer, but also the way she wore it - with the strap off the left shoulder. As was the white singlet underneath also identical to the way it appeared recently on the catwalk.

David on the other hand looked to have stolen his look from someone quite different - the legendary train engineer Casey Jones.

The former England captain's hobnail boots and filthy jeans are, according to impeccable fashion sources, meant to look that way. While his oversized cap is also said to be the height of autumn/ winter fashion.
