Beijing's high-end Japanese restaurant group Yotsuba has recently established a sub-brand, Man Yo, targeting the middle-class market.

The restaurant, which recently opened in the Jianguomen area of the capital, typically charges 300 to 500 yuan (about $45-$75) per person, and offers business set menus for lunch, while Yotsuba, first founded in 2004, usually costs nearly 1,000 yuan a person.

A modern izakaya, or Japanese-style gastropub, the restaurant offers diners authentic Japanese fare and sake of high quality at a bright and delightful dining environment, relying on the parent group's ingredient sourcing network.

The most impressive offerings of Man Yo include seafood robatayaki, wagyu beef dishes and various sakes. Sushi and sashimi are also popular choices.
