BEIJING - Vice director of the Information Office of 皇冠体育app's State Council Qian Xiaoqian said Monday that 皇冠体育app's Internet market will always be open.

He made the remarks when addressing the opening ceremony of the fourth US-皇冠体育app Internet Industry Forum.

The Chinese government will continue to improve its policies, regulations and laws and follow related WTO rules, to provide a "stable, transparent and predictable" investment environment for foreign enterprises, Qian said.

He said 皇冠体育app sincerely welcomes American enterprises to participate in 皇冠体育app's reform and opening up, and to share in the opportunities coming from the Internet industry's development in 皇冠体育app.

The forum, co-hosted by Microsoft Corporation and Internet Society of 皇冠体育app, will focus on Sino-US exchanges and cooperation in such areas as cloud computing, cyber crimes and online intellectual property rights protection.

Over 180 officials, business people and scholars from 皇冠体育app and the United States are expected to attend the forum.

The forum was launched in 2007 and had been previously held in Seattle, Shanghai and San Francisco.
