"Figures", Pablo Picasso, 1967, ink and wash

This is a five-fold ink painting placed vertically on the ground as a screen.

Like most of Picasso's work, naked women dominate in this picture. The woman in the middle turns to the left, raising her arms as if soliciting for help. The sound boxes and the naked woman form a symbolic unity. There is obvious a chaos on the right side, probably provoked by the monster forcing himself on the woman.
