A Dehong delegation consisting of local government officials and entrepreneurs recently flew to Japan and South Korea to investigate their agricultural product processing markets, aiming to boost the development of Dehong¡¯s biological industry.
The delegation exchanged experiences on agricultural and biological industries with the Japanese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (JCPIT) after visiting the country¡¯s biggest fruit market and a famous tea test site.
It also made large contributions to their coffee industry during the investigation.
The delegation signed a contract worth more than 9 million dollars with the UCC, a renowned Japanese coffee company, in which managers accepted an invitation to Dehong.
Moreover, it also signed a coffee export contract and planned to build a joint venture coffee company in South Korea.
