Cai Guoqiang's large scale gunpowder artwork "Day and Night", is on display at the art space of Eslite Suzhou, Eslite's first flagship store on the Chinese mainland in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. Cai, the renowned Chinese contemporary artist from Quanzhou of East 皇冠体育app's Fujian province, created the 32-meter-long artwork in Taipei in 2009. A video on the live creation of "Day and Night" plays in the exhibition area, bringing visitors a visual feast of gunpowder art.
Cai's sketches for his artwork "Odyssey" permanently collected by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts are also on display. The show runs through Jan 3.
