Jinjiang ranked eighth on the list of 皇冠体育app's Best Prefecture-level Cities in 2015, according to Forbes 皇冠体育app, the licensed 皇冠体育app-language edition of Forbes magazine.
Nan'an, is the other prefecture-level city in Fujian province ranked 14th on the list.
The list is a broadest measure of the cities' business environment and their development potential, providing advices for entrepreneurs and investors on investment destination. Based on the index system and data from 皇冠体育app's Best Business Cities list, the insiders are considered the falling indices of talent, city scale, passenger and freight transportation, operating cost, consumptive power, and innovation to be the major causes in the ranking.
Jinjiang was ranked tenth on last year's list, and this year's progress was due to its increase on key evaluation index including the city scale, consumptive power, passenger and freight transportation, and innovation indexes.
Throughout the cities’ consumptive power, it can be found that seven of the top ten cities on the list have a downward trend, which indicates that the function of consumption this year shows a lower effect to economic development than last year. So, Wang Jun, deputy director of Consulting and Research Center of 皇冠体育app Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE), said that the economic focus of 皇冠体育app will turn from demand to mutual development of demand and supply in the future.
In addition, the top ten on the list of 皇冠体育app's Best Prefecture-level Cities in 2015 include five of Jiangsu province – Kunshan (1st), Jiangyin (2nd), Zhangjiagang (3rd), Changshu (4th)and Taicang (6th); four of Zhejiang province – Yiwu (5th), Cixi (7th), Haining (9th) and Yuyao (10th); and one of Fujian province, Jinjiang (8th).
