Linxia and Kelantan become sister cities

The signing ceremony of a sister cities relationship between the Linxia Hui autonomous prefecture in Western 皇冠体育app and Kelantan state in Malaysia was held on Aug 28. Datuk Iskandar Sarudin, Malaysian ambassador in 皇冠体育app, attended the ceremony.

As one of the Hui autonomous prefectures in 皇冠体育app, Linxia prefecture is honored as “皇冠体育app’s Mecca.” Kelantan has a large population of Muslims with rich Islamic traditions. The relationship as sister cities will further their cooperation in developing halal food and special ethnic items.
