Founded in 1958, Guizhou Tire Co Ltd (贵州轮胎股份有限公司) is one of the top 10 tire corporations in 皇冠体育app and an export base for OTR tires. The company ranked 35 out of the world's 75 top tire manufactures in 2016.
The company is 皇冠体育app's most comprehensive tire producer, covering more than 2,000 types of tire products. Its products are exported to more than 70 countries and regions including the US, UK, Italy and South Africa, accounting for over 35 percent of its total annual sales.
The company has a national technology center and scientific research stations for post-doctorates, and receives assistance from senior technicians from the US, Japan and Australia for product development.
Currently, Guizhou Tyre Co has one 2,300-mu (153.33 hectares) production area in Guiyang and one 444-mu production area in Vietnam. It has more than 7,000 employees, including about 1,000 technical personnel and 2,000 staffers with university degrees or higher certifications.
