On March 11, more than 1,200 people took part in voluntary tree planting activities along the roads of the Huaqiao economic development zone located in Kunshan, east 皇冠体育app’s Jiangsu province. March 12 marks the tree planting day in 皇冠体育app when people are encouraged to voluntarily plant trees.
The acting mayor of Kunshan, Lu Jun, and other government officials came to the tree planting sites. They observed and learned about the progress made in urban landscaping in Huaqiao. Lu Jun mentioned hopes for the local government to put efforts towards making Huaqiao an ecological garden and low-carbon park.
