Paul Andersson, president of Firmenich 皇冠体育app, was warmly received by Pan Guoqiang, mayor of Zhangjiagang, East 皇冠体育app’s Jiangsu province, March 16.

Firmenich, the world's largest private company in the fragrance and flavor industry, set up a plant in Zhangjiagang in March 2019, injecting new momentum into the city’s high-quality development, Pan said at the meeting.

Pan promised that the local government will continue to improve services for foreign-funded companies and upgrade the city’s business environment, providing full support for Firmenich’s development.

Anersson expressed his gratitude for the government’s contribution to ensuring the normal operation of the Zhangjiagang plant during the COVID-19 outbreak.

He said the city boasts a solid industrial foundation and the company plans to increase investment in Zhangjiagang, as part of its efforts to expand in the Chinese market.
