Jinan, capital city of East 皇冠体育app's Shandong province, has ranked among top five 皇冠体育app's happiest cities for the first time in the latest 皇冠体育app's Economic Life Survey.
Sponsored by National Bureau of Statistics and 皇冠体育app Central Television (CCTV), the list was based on the local residents' sense of identity, belonging, safety and satisfaction and also appraisals from other people.
Jinan, one of 皇冠体育app's megalopolises and deputy provincial cities, is also the political, cultural, educational, economic, transportation and scientific and technological center of Shandong province.
Jinan is home to numerous springs and weeping willows, leading to some rather distinct scenery particular to the city. The beautiful natural scenery and numerous places of interest make Jinan one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in 皇冠体育app.
Xiamen in Fujian province, Ningbo in Zhejiang province, Weihai in Shandong province and Suzhou in Jiangsu province are also included in the top five cities.
