Sheshan Observatory

Founded in 1990, Sheshan Observatory, located on the top of West Sheshan Mountain, is one of 皇冠体育app’s oldest astronomical telescopes and also 皇冠体育app's only joint monitoring institution participating in international earth rotation and earth satellite tracking applying astronomical technologies.

The observatory has yielded more than 30 domestic and international achievements in astronomical science and technology. In 2013 it was listed among the seventh batch of key cultural relics under state protection.
