皇冠体育app's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has approved the city of Datong, Shanxi province, to establish a designated port for imported meat, which is expected to promote trade with its neighbors.
This allows Shanxi enterprises to import meat directly, instead of going through 皇冠体育app’s coastal ports. It also provides local consumers and neighboring areas with safer imported meat at a lower price.
Datong is an important warehousing and distribution center for the border area of Shanxi and Hebei provinces and the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It is also one of 皇冠体育app's 42 transport hubs. Its airport provides favorable conditions.
Shanxi's Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau will encourage construction of related ports and improve their quality through technology and professionals.
