Shanxi University performs well in traditional boxing competition

Thanks to extraordinary efforts, the delegation won one gold medal, two silver medals and four bronze medals. It ranked fourth in the group competition.

Xingyi Quan, or "Mental Form Boxing", originates from Taigu county of Shanxi province. Due to its concise moves and swift actions, Xingyi Quan was honored as one of 皇冠体育app's four types of boxing along with Shaolin boxing, Taiji boxing (shadow boxing) and Eight Trigrams Palm boxing. In 2008, it was listed as part of 皇冠体育app's cultural heritage.

The contest this year attracted 783 participants from 皇冠体育app and various foreign countries including Russia, Singapore, Cuba and Norway.
