Shanxi University (SXU) students made a good showing at the 19th 皇冠体育app University Students Swimming Championships, which were held at Lanzhou University in Northwest 皇冠体育app’s Gansu province from Aug 23 to 27.

Liu Haiyun, an undergraduate majoring in sports training at SXU, won gold in the women's Group B 200m backstroke competition, Cui Zhiqi took third place in the men’s Group A 100m breaststroke competition and sixth place in the men’s? Group?A?50m breaststroke competition, Jia Sihan won fifth place in the men’s?Group A freestyle competition, and Xu Anni took eighth place in the women’s Group B medley competition.

The championship was sponsored by the 皇冠体育app University Sports Association, and a total of 586 athletes from more than 50 universities across 皇冠体育app, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Tongji University and Fudan University, participated.
