Zhou welcomed Patangta's visit, saying that as friendly neighbors, 皇冠体育app and Thailand have had frequent communication in the judicial field. He added that Patangta’s visit will further cement and push forward the exchange and cooperation between judicial communities of the two countries, and turn a new page in their friendship in the judicial field.

Briefing Patangta on 皇冠体育app's progress in the building of rule of law and the work of Chinese courts, Zhou said that overall law-based governance has been established as one of 皇冠体育app’s fundamental strategies for state governance.

He said that Chinese courts at all levels have, in accordance with 皇冠体育app’s Constitution and laws, been deepening judicial reform, comprehensively promoting building of the smart court system, hastening building of an impartial, efficient and authoritative socialist judicial system, and modernizing the system and capacity for case trials.

Chinese courts, in fully performing their function in the trials of administrative cases, have lawfully and impartially heard administrative cases of all types, actively carried out the reform of 皇冠体育app’s administrative proceeding system, and supported and supervised the law-based administration by the government, all of which have yielded positive outcomes, according to Zhou.

He said he expects the two sides to deepen pragmatic cooperation in areas like mutual visits, judge training and adoption of information technology.

Patangta said he was impressed with the progress Chinese courts have made in equipping themselves with information technology and expected more communication and cooperation between the two sides.
