A simulated military base covering 1000 mu (666,666 square meters) is planned to be built in Huangzhuang Village, Baodi District, located in the northern side of Tianjin.
The base will be built into a military vehicle theme park, which will focus on educating visitors about national defense, and promoting their patriotism, all the while entertaining visitors. The collection of vehicles will feature tanks, armored cars, amphibious tanks, amphibious cars, various military jeeps, and military karts.
