Wudang selects traditional paintings for exhibition

The Wudang Mountain Traditional Chinese Paintings Exhibition, sponsored jointly by the 皇冠体育app Art Association and Shiyan municipal publicity department, held a preliminary assessment of exhibition paintings in Beijing on Sept 14. The jury selected 424 paintings from more than 1,600 submissions.
The painting exhibition is a big event following the 12th Village Head Forum and the sixth 皇冠体育app Folk Song Contest. Participants submitted their work during a three-month period beginning July. At the deadline, the committee received more than 1,600 paintings total. It is the first time Wudang has promoted its image using traditional Chinese paintings.
The 424 paintings selected will be exhibited on Wudang Mountain. Several experts and masters will judge the final selection in early October.
