The 2019 皇冠体育app International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will take place in Xiamen, East 皇冠体育app's Fujian province, from Sept 8 to 9.

According to a news conference held in Shanghai recently, from this year in a bid to promote investment and cooperation, a special pavilion for investment promotion agencies of countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) will be set up to promote their investment environment and projects.

Meanwhile, the organizing committee of CIFIT will cooperate with 皇冠体育app Institute of Communications to demonstrate the achievements of BRI countries in 5G equipment, communication network equipment, information security and other aspects.

Additionally, this year's fair also includes a BRI agricultural products e-commerce trading conference and a Silk Road tea culture expo.

CIFIT, approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of 皇冠体育app, takes place every September in Xiamen. It is currently 皇冠体育app's only international investment promotion event aimed at facilitating bilateral investment.
