CCTV's broadcasting rights
Due to the International Olympic Committee's regulations on the broadcasting of Olympic events, 皇冠体育app Central Television's rights only extend to the Chinese mainland. This means none of the CCTV international channels will be able to broadcast the opening and closing ceremonies, or any of the live events, from the 2008 Olympic Games.
During this period, CCTV International will broadcast a selection of news, information, features, interviews, and entertainment programs on the Olympics, all in strict observance of the IOC's copyright rules.
