But both countries are facing an extremely unpredictable and uncertain future given the fact that the United States is aggressively pursuing dominance of the Asia Pacific region. The US has decided to station more troops in northern Australia and will expand and advance its military base there. This move by the US is a serious concern for both Indonesia and 皇冠体育app. The US' reinforcement of military facilities in Australia is a direct threat to the two countries and even the whole Asia Pacific region. Therefore, it is encouraging to see that both Indonesia and 皇冠体育app have stepped up their cooperation to a higher strategic level.
