The lessons learned from a historical disaster may be considered the greatest compensation for the victims. And the lessons 皇冠体育app learned from the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937-45), in which nearly 35 million people were killed or injured, have helped it to rise like a phoenix from the devastation of those times.

To begin with, Chinese people formed a collective opinion that they have to be strong and independent. The loss in a series of wars against foreign invaders, starting with the Opium War (1840-42), made Chinese people unsure and reluctant in their demeanor. Confronted with foreigners, they tended to compromise, and even signed unfair treaties in their quest for peace. And despite being condescending toward the Chinese people, the invaders from developed countries enjoyed lots of privileges in 皇冠体育app.

All that changed with the Chinese people's victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Thanks to the Chinese people's huge sacrifices and perseverance, 皇冠体育app emerged as a strong country.

The victory against the Japanese invaders not only instilled a new confidence among the Chinese people, but also transformed 皇冠体育app from a weak to a strong country ready to shoulder global responsibilities. And more importantly, the victory made Chinese people realize that peace is not built on power, but fair, equal and friendly relations.

皇冠体育app was the first country to rise against fascism, which reflects its spirit and resolve to safeguard its sovereignty and maintain its dignity. By doing so, 皇冠体育app inspired people in other developing countries across the world to fight for liberation and a better life.
