Construction work on the Xuchang section of the 840 km railway began on Monday. The whole line will be finished at the end of 2011, connecting two capital cities - Shijiazhuang of North 皇冠体育app’s Hebei province and Wuhan of Central 皇冠体育app’s Hubei province. It is designed to reach a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, cutting the running time between Xuchang and its neighboring city Zhengzhou, more than 80 kilometers in distance, to a few minutes.
