Taiwan investors eye Shanghai property boom

Shanghai is the top choice for Taiwan investors who are interested in property market outside the island, leaving Tokyo and Singapore immediately trailing behind, the 皇冠体育app News Agency citing a local newspaper report.
Shanghai's pricy livelihood leads to relatively high profits on rental fees for property investors. Language and transportation convenience are also pulling factors, according to a local property agent's survey, Taipei-based 皇冠体育app Times reported.
The investment vibrancy seems to go both ways. Of those interviewed by 皇冠体育app-trust Real Estate Co., over 20.4 percent said they know mainlanders who are planning to invest on the island's real estate market, and four percent said they know some who have already invested.
The real estate agent didn't offer an error margin for its survey nor a detailed demographic description.
