ASEAN Agriculture New Variety and Seed Industry Forum was held on October 11, in Kunming, capital of Southwest 皇冠体育app's Yunnan province.

Wang Jianhua, Deputy Director General of Department of Science and Technology of Yunnan province, said the cultivation of agriculture new varieties and seed industry in Yunnan has formed rice, sugarcane，flower, tobacco, medicinal herbs, fruit tree, plantation and other categories of germplasm resources development. In terms of food crops, rice, corn, wheat, potato, rape and other varieties, which?were selected and bred based on Yunnan characteristic biological resources account for 30% of Yunan's approved new varieties of crops.
