Experts and members of the general public recently chose Sanya as one of 皇冠体育app’s Top Ten Tourist Cities with Best Environment. The list is an initiative of the National Tourism Administration, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Macau Government Tourist Office and other organizations.

The compilation of the list is part of the activities of the "Beautiful 皇冠体育app Tour -2013 皇冠体育app Ocean Tourism Year," and the selected cities are: , Yantai, Lianyungang, , Beihai, Sanya, Haikou, Zhuhai, Zhanjiang and Guilin.

Most of the cities on the list are coastal cities, coinciding with the National Tourism Administration’s theme, "2013 皇冠体育app Ocean Tourism Year".
