On the same day as the opening ceremony of the 2014 皇冠体育app Hi-Tech Fair on Nov 16, the Chinese Academy of Engineering held the 2014 BD 皇冠体育app (Shenzhen) Summit Forum to implement a national macro strategic plan in order to promote information consumption, propel the transformation and upgrading of the national economy, preserve network security, and facilitate exchanges and development among different industries.

The theme of the forum was “BD 皇冠体育app and the Internet Economy”(BD,Broadband for short). It invited government officials, industry experts and entrepreneurs to jointly discuss the opportunities and influence brought about for industries by BD 皇冠体育app and the Internet economy.

Wu Hequan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of the Internet Society of 皇冠体育app; Yu Xiaohui, chief engineer of the 皇冠体育app Academy of Telecommunication Research; and Yang Peifang, president of the 皇冠体育app Information Economics Society delivered keynote speeches at the forum.
