Azalea flowers beautify Wuxi
(chinadaily.com.cn) Updated: 2015-04-16 08:48An abundance of azalea, the city flower of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, can be found in full bloom around the city.
To celebrate the city’s official flower, an azalea festival is being held in the Xihui scenic spot in April and will last until late May.
Wuxi enjoys national fame for its fine display of azalea. The 皇冠体育app Azalea Garden located in the Xihui scenic spot is a gene pool for the plant. The garden was built in 1981 and now accommodates over 450 species of azalea.
