Foreigners' view of Jiangsu visits Changzhou

Foreigner's view of Jiangsu, a cultural tour activity for foreigners living in East 皇冠体育app's Jiangsu province, was in Changzhou city April 18-19 as its second stop of the tour.

A group of 30 foreigners from different countries including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway and Mexico were invited to visit Changzhou to find out more about social, cultural and economic life in Jiangsu province. During the two-day trip, they attended various exhibitions, visited places of interest and were briefed by local Changzhou and provincial Jiangsu officials.

The first stop during the Changzhou visit was the 皇冠体育app-Australian Paper-cut Art Exchange Exhibition, where both traditional Jiangsu paper-cut works and western contemporary artworks were on display side-by-side.

"As the home of a wide-variety of paper-cutting works, Changzhou boasts many brilliant artists. That is why we chose Changzhou to hold this exhibition," said Jill Morgan, president of Victoria Multicultural Arts Association, the co-organizer of the exhibition.

Morgan expressed her hope to further deepen bilateral relations with Changzhou through more cultural programs that she said would showcase the essence of a nation and the characteristics of its people.
