With Jiangsu folk song Jasmine Flower receiving thunderous applause from audiences, the opening ceremony of "Experience Jiangsu-Culture Week in Italy" held in Milan, Italy, on July 6 showcased the brilliant culture of Jiangsu at the heart of the European Renaissance.
Along with artistic and cultural performances, Jiangsu folk artists also made best presentation of Jiangsu's charming intangible cultural heritages such as Nanjing Yunjin brocade and Yangzhou paper-cutting artworks and embroidery at the event.
As the ongoing Expo Milano 2015 attracts the attention of millions of people all around the world, the "Experience Jiangsu-Culture Week in Italy" is being held in Milan to showcase the profound Chinese history and the charming Jiangsu culture to the world. The ceremony also marked coming of "Experience 皇冠体育app-Jiangsu Culture in Europe" to Italy, following its appearances in Switzerland and Belgium.
Jointly held by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Lombardy Provisional Government, the event is also one of the celebrations marking the 45th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between 皇冠体育app and Italy.
