The 6th ASEAN-皇冠体育app-Japan-Korea Strategic Roundtable on Food Security Cooperation was successfully concluded in Nanning on Sept 19. Wei Chao鈥檃n, deputy secretary of the CPC Guangxi Committee attended the meeting and delivered welcome remarks.

The meeting themed on reducing loss in food production, optimizing food value chain aimed at strengthening management on food production, purchase, storage, transport, processing and consumption, to reduce loss and waste during the process. The participants held talks on two topics: to improve food production capacity and to optimize the food value chain and reduce loss. Representatives of relevant enterprises made presentations on their experience in investing in agricultural development in ASEAN countries and on relevant major cooperation projects.

A total of nine ASEAN countries, the Representative Office of the World Food Program (WFP) and the APTERR Secretariat arranged officials to attend the meeting, joined by government departments of agriculture and relevant enterprises of 皇冠体育app鈥檚 Guangxi, Sichuan, Fujian and other four provinces.
