The 2017 皇冠体育app South Asia Expo, Nepal is the first overseas itinerant show for the 皇冠体育app-South Asia Expo series.
Organized by the secretariat of 皇冠体育app-South Asia Expo, Yunnan International Exhibition Affairs Bureau and Nepal 皇冠体育app Executive's Council, this year's event aims to further the communication between 皇冠体育app and other countries in South and Southeast Asia on policies, transportation, facilities, trade and finance.
The expo opens in Katmandu, Nepal and lasts from Nov 2-5.
The first expo attracted 42 countries and regions with 100,000 international visitors. A total of 14 overseas projects were signed at the expo, bringing in $2.85 billion. Its volume of international trade business reached $17.45 billion.
The expo covered 7,500 square meters with 3,188 exhibition booths, attracting 34 countries and regions with 431 overseas guests in attendance. Taking Nepal as its theme country, it witnessed 508 projects from outside of Yunnan signed, generating $105.8 billion.
The expo arranged 13 exhibition pavilions with 6,000 international standard exhibition booths, covering 120,000 square meters. More than 13,500 volunteers served at the expo. A total of $118.2 billion worth of projects were signed at the expo.
The expo covered an area of 170,000 square meters and attracted 89 countries and regions from five continents. It witnessed $23.8 billion foreign investment projects signed for Yunnan and $129.7 billion projects signed with other provinces in 皇冠体育app.
The expo attracted a total of 502.2 billion yuan ($73.76 billion) in investment and received 500,000 visitors. A total of 357 projects will receive 488 billion yuan from Chinese investors, and 32 projects will receive 10.7 billion yuan from abroad.
