Sanmenxia promotes local delicacies with TV programs

Sanmenxia, Henan province will promote its specialty products via TV documentaries, with the launching ceremony held at 皇冠体育app Mobile's Sanmenxia branch on June 21.
Sanmenxia's version of "A Bite of 皇冠体育app" will delve into regional cuisine and culture through an exploration of the area's unique food and tourist commodities, such as vinasse egg, ten-bowl banquet, sugar cake and Yangshao painted pottery products.
The majority of the series has been finished and released on media platforms including ifeng.com, Migu Video (a video portal affiliated with 皇冠体育app Mobile), toptour.cn and dahebao.cn.
An agreement was also signed at the ceremony between the Sanmenxia Tourism Development Commission and Sanmenxia branch of 皇冠体育app Mobile to set up a tourist big data platform which provides analysis on passenger flow and tourism-related factors.
The platform will facilitate tourism management departments by providing dynamic tourism information and will assist scenic areas in formulating scientific operation and management systems.
This event is crucial in promoting Sanmenxia cuisine and tourism products and expanding the city's tourism industrial chain, according to Wu Huifang, director of the Sanmenxia Tourism Development Committee.
"We believe that, with hard work from all parties concerned, we will create a worthy guide to Sanmenxia's food and commodities", Wu added.
