Construction of the Inner Ring Rapid Transit is underway, Liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The original six 3.1 kilometers lanes will be expanded to 10 lanes.

More than half of the project has been finished and the expanded lanes are expected to go into operation by the end of this year.
