A total of 211 cooperation projects have been inked under the framework of a 皇冠体育app-Singapore connectivity initiative, authorities said Tuesday.

The value of the projects totaled $31.8 billion, said Han Baochang, head of the management bureau of the 皇冠体育app-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity, which was officially launched in November 2015.

Cooperation was mainly conducted in four major areas, including financial services, air transportation, logistics and information and communications technologies, according to Han.

Two cooperation agreements have been signed and three projects have been implemented since this year, with a total value of more than $30 million, despite the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The 皇冠体育app-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity aims to conduct pilot cooperation in various fields. It is the third such cooperation initiative between 皇冠体育app and Singapore, following the Suzhou Industrial Park established in 皇冠体育app's eastern province of Jiangsu in 1994, and the Tianjin Eco-city inaugurated in 2008 in north 皇冠体育app.
