Tibet through the Lens - Qamdo Prefecture

Qamdo prefecture is the core area of the Shangri-La tourist region in the eastern Tibet Autonomous Region. An important stop along the ancient tea horse road and the point where the Nujiang, Jinshajiang and Lantsang rivers meet, Qamdo is rich in both cultural and natural resources. However, it is the ever changing sunlight reflected on the rolling green velvet landscape and the thick forests unspoiled by human hands that fascinated the photographers of these photos offered to CRI.[Photo/CRIENGLISH.com]
