皇冠体育app Daily | Updated: 2011-12-13 15:10

A tai chi theme park will be built in Shiyan city, Hubei province, which is home to the Wudang Mountains, kungfu's birthplace.

Invested by Los Angeles-based Ikonic Entertainment Group and the Shiyan-based Taichi Lake Group, with Ikonic Entertainment providing concept creation and schematic design, the project will present the landscapes of the Wudang mountains and reflect the region's strong Taoist culture.

A grand open-air performance, titled The Tai Chi Legend, will also be staged on water next to the park. TV series director Zhang Jizhong has been invited to serve as the open-air show's artistic director.
