Yalong Bay luxury hotels take eco-responsibilities

Sheraton Sanya Resort recently joined hands with The St.Regis Sanya, Yalong Bay, The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa, MGM Grand Sanya Resort and Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort in the Big Cleaning Day at the Yalong Bay Beach.
120 volunteers led by Wolfgang Boettcher, general manager of Sheraton Sanya Resort, worked tirelessly to clean the three kilometer pristine white sandy beach.
The Beach Cleaning Day was a big success. It was impressive to see all the volunteers working hard together for the same purpose – keeping our home clean and eco-friendly.
"Sheraton Sanya Resort is dedicated to our social commitment to the environment. The initiative generated an overwhelming support from the Yalong bay luxury hotel community. Our common concern was to keep the Yalong Bay beach the most beautiful, clean and exciting place on Hainan Island." Mr Wolfgang Boettcher said.
