The pound's slump has caused a chain reaction, leading to slight dips in the euro, and Australian and New Zealand dollars. It has buoyed the yen and US dollar.
This may play a hand in redrawing Chinese travelers' tourism maps.
"The most important impact on Chinese tourists is the possible currency fluctuations," the International Tourism Development Institute's director, Jiang Yiyi, told 皇冠体育app Daily earlier.
"Traveling to the United Kingdom may become cheaper, and Chinese tourists will be more willing to go there."
Travel agencies are already offering discounts.
The Brexit is expected to cut summer vacationers' costs by a third, Ctrip reports.
Bookings have increased 150 percent month-on-month, and the company's packages are fully booked until early August.
Ctrip has just launched a 14,000 yuan, seven-day individual-travel package to London that features five-star hotel stays.
The two-year multi-entry tourism visa policy that took effect on Jan 11 has already produced enticements for Chinese.
