Kempinski commemorates 120th anniversary as hotelier

The Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing commenced the celebrations of its parent company's anniversary with special offers for guests and local residents as Kempinski Hotels celebrates its 120 years worldwide.
A testament to Kempinski Hotels’ heritage, the “Ignite the Night” event was launched at Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing & Yanqi Island, in the suburban district of Huairou in Beijing on April 8, 2017.
Celebrations kicked off with a lighting ceremony led by hotel Manager Sebastian Thomas. The hotel's entire round tower was beautifully lit up with hydroelectric LED lights. From afar it looked like a glittering scallop perched on the shores of Yangi Lake.
Executive Chef Kevin Stone prepared a 120-year anniversary theme birthday cake to share with all guests. Cocktails and canapés were served, while children enjoyed sweets and fun toys.
