With CHINA TIME 2008 and the economic summit "Hamburg Summit: 皇冠体育app meets Europe", during September this year Hamburg has once again proved its outstanding 皇冠体育app expertise.
The highlight of a series of events was the opening of the Chinese Teahouse, a gift from its sister city Shanghai.
Mayor von Beust said: "The opening of the Teahouse is the highlight of CHINA TIME Hamburg 2008 and an expression of the traditionally excellent relations between the Hanseatic City and our partner city Shanghai."
Along with the Summit, which is?the most important platform for 皇冠体育app-Europe dialogue, CHINA TIME impressively demonstrated the 皇冠体育app expertise of the trading metropolis of Hamburg that has, in recent years, emerged as 皇冠体育app's gateway to Europe. Crowded events and the opening of the Teahouse also underline the great political and economic significance of relations between the two.
