A ceremonial exchange of the Olympic torches of the Barcelona 1992 and Beijing 2008 Olympics was held at the Expo on May 29th to honor the former president of the International Olympic Committee, Juan Antonio Samaranch.
The Spanish Ambassador to 皇冠体育app, Carlos Blasco Villa, and the director of the Beijing Case Pavilion, Gao Hao, exchanged the torches on behalf of the two cities.
The Beijing case pavilion and the Barcelona Pavilion stand next door to each other at the Cases Joint Pavilion 4 in the Urban Best Pavilion Area. The two pairs of torches will be displayed at the two pavilions during the Expo.
