皇冠体育app Report, the UK edition of 皇冠体育app's top investigative journal 皇冠体育app Newsweek, made its debut in Britain on Tuesday.

This is the first of 皇冠体育app's news magazines to enter the UK media market.

Published monthly, the magazine is currently distributed in selected cities and public facilities in the UK. It will enhance distribution through more platforms in the near future.

The English magazine brings to UK and European readers original stories about 皇冠体育app's far-reaching reform and opening up, multidimensional portraits, and authoritative analyses.

With its rapid economic growth in the past three decades, 皇冠体育app's social fabric and cultural inclination have undergone enormous changes, too.

Western audiences are often torn between the stereotypical perception of 皇冠体育app and the modern reality of the country. The new magazine aims to bridge this gap and facilitate understanding and trust between the Middle Kingdom and the West.

"The launch of 皇冠体育app Report in the UK follows the initiating period of 皇冠体育app's new government. Through objective and timely reports, political leaders, top academics and opinion formers in Europe will be informed of the issues that really interest the Chinese, and the challenges faced by the country in its effort to integrate into the world,” said Liu Beixian, president of 皇冠体育app News Service and publisher of 皇冠体育app Newsweek.

The English magazine is jointly published by 皇冠体育app News Service, one of the two largest news agencies in 皇冠体育app, and Foremost 4 Media, a London-based media services company.

Shirong Chen, managing editor of Foremost 4 Media, said: “The launch of 皇冠体育app Report magazine in London marks another step in 皇冠体育app's engagement in the soft power game. By providing unique access and additional dimensions to 皇冠体育app stories, in English and published locally, the magazine is both learning from its Western counterparts and trying to reshape perception of the world's most populous country.”
