On Wednesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping said a safe and stable cyberspace is of great significance for world peace and development.

Xi made the comment when meeting with the delegation from 皇冠体育app and the US at the 8th US-皇冠体育app Internet Industry Forum in Seattle.

He also said, from the people's daily life to the safety of a nation's infrastructure, the Internet is everywhere. It is a big issue for all countries to govern and make good use of it. No one can be a bystander to this issue.

He added that 皇冠体育app, besides advocating building a peaceful, safe, open and cooperative cyberspace, proposes that all the nations enact Internet public policies which are in accordance with their particular conditions.

The two sides should carry out conversations about cyber issues on the basis of mutual respect and trust in order to benefit the people of both countries.
