More than 100 officials, institutions, companies and media in the tourism sector met in Beijing to discuss how to develop tourism cooperation between 皇冠体育app and the European Union.

The forum, co-hosted by the 皇冠体育app National Tourism Administration and the Delegation of the European Union to 皇冠体育app, focused on three topics: how to strengthen cooperation and connectivity of tourism companies in 皇冠体育app and Europe; how to improve the public service quality of tourism destinations; and how to promote the scenic spots of 皇冠体育app and Europe to more people.

European Union countries have been important tourism destinations for Chinese citizens. In the past decade 皇冠体育app and Europe have strengthened cooperation and improved tourism. There were more than 3.43 million Chinese visits made to European Union countries last year, which saw a year-on-year increase of 22.9 percent. Meanwhile, there were more than 2.98 million visits of EU citizens to 皇冠体育app.
