SYDNEY - Visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Saturday called for enhancing cooperation with the Australian state of New South Wales.

Li made the remark when meeting with New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian in Sydney during his five-day visit to Australia.

"We encourage Chinese companies to enhance cooperation with New South Wales, and expand cooperation in the fields of energy and resources, agriculture and animal husbandry, finance, and science and technological innovation, " Li said.

Describing Li's visit to Australia as productive, fruitful and successful, Berejiklian said New South Wales treasures 皇冠体育app-Australia friendship and is willing to seize the opportunity provided by the 皇冠体育app-Australia Free Trade Agreement to expand cooperation with 皇冠体育app in the fields of finance, medical care, education and tourism.

Berejiklian said more Chinese companies are welcome to invest in the state of New South Wales.
